Today is St. Nikolaus Day. In Switzerland this guy would visit the children (and adults). Those who had been good would be rewarded with a few small presents and edible goodies. those who had "obedience impairments"would get a switch (twigs bundled together).
Best part of "Samichlaus" was the "Gritibänz".

The timing is off this year, SWMBO returns on the 10th. The "Gritibänz" would be a bit stale.

Apparently the Swiss bake and sell the Grittibänz even a few days past Dec 6th, so I got my Grittibänz yesterday. B-) B-)
