Just read that on a German blog.

The official blurb

https://grw.trains.com/~/link.aspx?_id= ... 0446A&_z=z

Oh well, this was to be expected once Horowitz left the building.

It's planned as what I see an occasional feature in Model Railroader. Which is OK, our local library carries that.
Other than that? Still reading "Trains" and "Classic Trains" to get a feel of what is going on and what used to go on.

Though I am sad to see this go, because it was the most easily obtainable Garden Railroading magazine in North America, and therefore, the one easy to read magazine that could draw more people into the hobby, especially young people. I don't think many young people would pick up a foreign magazine and jump in when they can't read anything.
On the other hand, I felt the magazine lacked sophistication, and the modeling was often not the highest standards. When compared to much of GP's content and thorough coverage. To be fair, Garden Modelers in Europe enjoy a much bigger industry with more small manufacturers and products available.
Gn3, which covered Finescale garden modeling in 1:20.3 had some amazing layouts and modeling. I don't know if it survives.
Sad to see another hobby magazine go.
We need to attract more people into the hobby to keep it flourishing, and provide a client based for businesses which provide us with the things we love.
