Looks like it’s the RhB Ge 4/4 III in variations for 2020 or whenever from KISS.

https://www.kiss-modellbahnen.de/spur-2m/ge-4-4-iii-elektrolokomotive/

Don’t need one personally. In fact, anybody want/need one from LGB? I have a few SWMBO would like me to part with!

Enjoy,
Dean

Yeah, I'm the first person to cheer on new prototypical stuff... just wish Kiss would look at some rolling stock I could add to my bastard locos, rather than 3.000 euro engines. :(

Are they all LGB stock versions?
Any KMS repaints?

Josh, I’d be shocked if KISS does 647 Grüsch with the latest refit headlights.

And KMS has already done 651 GoT and 652 HCD, well at least repaints of LGB models that is.

Hey Dean,

Sorry, should have been more clear - are any of yours KMS repaints? :))
(As in the ones SWMBO would like to see shifted?)

Ok...I think I’m losing it...
How is Kiss able to justify making this loco when they twice cancelled production of a Tm 2/2 (like #115)?
Why hasn’t LGB ever made this switcher? Is there something I’m missing because surely the demand has to be higher for one that hasn’t been made and that I have to believe most RhB modellers would want, compared to a 4/4III that each of us probably has at least one? The supposed lack of preorders on the Kiss version I am thinking was because they had made such a mess of other production at the time and people were waiting/hoping LGB would come out with one?
Sorry to derail the thread guys but I just can’t figure this one out..makes no sense...

100% agree Keith. I actually went to the Kiss announcement to double check as I assumed there had to be other things announced as well. :-?

Hey Josh,
I refinished an LGB Ge 4/4 III on my own many years ago and turned it into the white EMS Chemie version that is still operating in that livery. I was happy with the outcome but it was far from museum quality! I failed to seal the lettering foils with a clear spray and they subsequently peeled off after a few years. Anyhow, I do have a couple of other stock LGB versions if you’re interested. Feel free to pm me here through the forum email.
Regards,
Dean

Hey Keith,
You can order a Tm 2/2 from Ed at Ed’s Gartenbahn. I currently have 2 models from him and I’m patiently waiting on another. Ed’s lead time might even be longer than Kiss, so if you place an order, keep yourself in good health during retirement! LOL. Just sayin’ !!!
Cheers,
Dean

Hi Dean! I was aware of Ed’s version but I figured the 3D printed method would still have lines etc. How are the two that you have?

They are very nice, but yes, they have "lines". 3D printing of 1:22.5 scale model trains IMHO just doesn't compare to plastic injection molding. And the few brass models I have are in even another higher cla$$ !!!

Good to know, thanks. I will put the kettle on and keep waiting. :)

I'm right there with you Keith. Would have 2 or more Tm's (had multiple orders in on the KMS version) - but when I finally got to see an EGB version in person, the striation was just too much... pour a cuppa' for me too!

Whoa, remember, guys, this is the company that took about 5 years to send out frames to some of the customers who had zincrot on their engines. Have done NOTHING for any of us with paint peeling off all surfaces, details falling off due to bad glue, and absolutely NO customer service to speak of.
3000 euros, and you can't bet it won't arrive with paint coming off. Good luck trying to get any help with that.
