Holmes and Moriarty chasing each other around the system has a certain appeal ;)

Yes looks like 623, I thought initially it’s an Engadine set heading to Landquart but as the lights are on I guess it’s in service.

They took that unit up to St Moritz on the early morning train yesterday.

Wonder if they have had to sub out a driving car for some reason?

Yes Jim, that set has been on the 06.13 through Filisur for a little while, I used to catch that working when it used to be the Mail Train, dropping off The Post at Filisur!!

An abiding memory for myself and The Present Mrs T is sitting in the Grischuna restaurant of an evening, watching the late services up from St Moritz. They usually had a couple of 4 axle post vans tacked on the back. You could see the workers busy sorting the mail as they passed.

No that’d be the ZentralBahn at Meiringen, ex Brunig SBB, but when has that ever stopped adverts to go and see an attraction ;)
