Are the perspex infill panels in the front handrail new as well? Had not really noticed before but adding the "floating" number makes them obvious.

I think they've always had those; on both the front and the rear step handrails.

Yes the Perspex has always been there.

Hi is it a mixed freight or an Allegra standing in for a Ge 6/6.11?

It has happened again this morning and on both occasions they coincide with normal freight train movements!

I believe it is a replacement but the Allegra is classed as a 8/12 loco on the roster.

Looks like a just-refurbished Gem going home after an R2...

I did wonder if this (a bit earlier), was a new 'anti-Covid' train formation...

I remember one of the Tm2/2s was repainted in 'Service Yellow' livery, and here it is in service:

I did wonder at first if it was just being hauled along at the tail of a freight, but look closely and you can see the orange clothing of the driver; besides, here it is again a minute or two later, with two headlamps lit:

NIce little train!

I am surprised an ex shunter has the speed to haul a Dienstzug at 'line speed'; has it been re-geared, does anyone know, or were they always capable of 'getting on a bit'...?

Regards, Andy

I believe they are rated at a top speed of 60Km/h

Has anybody noticed the change of traction through Filisur in the last few days, lots of loco hauled trains so where are all the Allegras?

There are Ge 4/4.111's on freights and lots more Ge 4/4.11's in use.

Any ideas?

Is the Allegra air con circulation common to cab and train? Might be a precaution for extra distancing?
