For transporting assembled switches to final destination, it can tilt the load to keep it clear of obstacles along the road.

More obviously a tilting table in these shots... Image

Seems to have been built on a redundant Standard-gauge transporter wagon.
Does anyone know it's serial number? Either Xk 99x xx or P101xx, presumably...

Interesting! It might be a good project--maybe use one of the new standard-gauge transport cars from LGB as a base then build the yellow tilting table on top?

Well that’s a bit of a sod! I need to leave Filisur at 12 that day to catch my flight home!! Taking the 1300 departure is technically feasible but very very tight and it’s likely to take more than 40 minutes for a Heidi to get there. Oh well I’ll have to watch the webcam ;)

Yes it snuck up on me just as I arrived at Bergün after walking the Albula :) You charter a train and they tag skips on the back?? :))

Also on arrival at Filisur 414 was on the shuttle instead of 415 so I got sidetracked to Davos again :)

Anna at the Grischuna did mention she was going on a retiring driver's last run, that ^ could be his train.
