610 & 603 & D1 on a freight, I see the electric locos both have the front pantograph raised.

Interesting conundrum, that; why not a) send it attached to the back of a Regionalzug? b), as part of a GmP or Freight, (as is often the case), and c) if it was a simple 'running gear issue', surely Samedan could cope with that - so why send it to (presumably) Landquart in a train of its own? Does that white notice indicate a fractured window, perhaps? :-?

As you say, Jim; one for the 'Prototype for everything' files... :D

Regards, Andy

white label normally has a notice stating that the vehicle if off for repair and it's destination.
Having it run through on the Landquart freight train makes sense, no need to shunt it at Chur if you sent it on a passenger service.
There again, it could be returning empty to Chur or Landquart after being used for group travel.

I must be getting old; I just can't get used to Albula line trains with the loco at the 'wrong' end.

Decals must have washed off. Don't know what was planned but I guess the 6,000,000 will be up to 6,040,000 by now, wonder if they have something like the Trade Descriptions and Advertising Standards rules in Switzerland ???????
