There is a large variety ... and despite my "general tendency" this picture had me intrigued right away.

While the loads are, according to the caption, mostly anti-aircraft "stuff" I've been a-looking for something more compact e.g mountain howitzers. They don't have to be very detailed since they will be tarped, but they need to have the "bumps" :ymdevil: in the right places.
One finds "stuff" in some unlikely places ... GI Joe Mountain Howitzer.

As my friend Andreas exclaimed 20 years ago: "Are you kidding!?! You start to play with toys again?"

Presently printing the chassis!
Do I get side tracked? Yes, I blame it on the cabin fever!

PS looks like there are some of the old truss rod flats in the train.

That's a great photo HJ - is that Berguen?
Those are most likely 20mm Oerlikon cannon, at least on the first couple of cars in the picture.

Yes Sir! It's out of "Abenteuer Albulabahn" there are some excellent pictures in that one for those of us who are stuck in the "past". 8-| 8-|

While the GI Joe Mountain Howitzers print (7 of them) I did a bit of googling on Swiss Army matters, lots of stuff about anti-aircraft and other cannons. Have to do a bit more to find the suitable supply vehicles (trailers) that are on that train. Easy ones are the single axle Jeep trailers.

It's not that I'm bored, it's just that other than doing some 3D printing and a bit of clean up on the HDD. The alternative would be vacuuming this joint.
Anyway doing a HDD clean-up is more to my liking. Started with a 39 part file I bought on CGT — this Russian guy has a whole slew of "stuff"— I bought this
to give it a try. First piece that old timer wagon with the slanted sides, my uncle used to have one like it to transport manure to the fields.
I remember the one Spring break ('58) having the pleasure of spreading it on the one field. Between the distinct aroma and the weight of the crap... oh dear.

Amazing what one finds in the download folder.
Nextup was "Swiss Hetzer" :-? :-? Oh yeah that's the Swiss Jagdpanzer that will fit on RhB flats if printed in 1:24.

http://ftr.wot-news.com/2014/07/08/swiss-tanks-part-2-tank-destroyers/

Handy size for in the mountains. Looks like that will take about 26 hrs to print.

I'll try it first in 1:72.
