I was thinking back to some of those today too! In my case, I’m just having having some health issues that leave me mentally and physically exhausted. Add to that the @#*$f deer and there’s just not enough left. I did manage to run my crocodile with a short freight today, though as a statement that Spring was here. :)

Hi Keith,

Sorry to hear that, but I can relate to it. :( :(

No running of anything in the garden, yet. There will be at least one more dump of snow .... like most years! Having survived 49 Canadian winters so far, one expects/accepts that as a given. :-w :-w

Hi Keith,

Sorry to hear that, about your health issues.

Running your krok with a freight train should scare the deer out of your garden.
Try to enjoy the spring with running your trains.

No good or funny 1th April jokes overhere too.
I guess we just grew up a little HJ.

I thought Andreas Cadosch had a good one.

Yes that one was good, especially if one knows how promptly and reliably KISS responds to customers. A month after my latest email to Mrs.Grobauer I still haven't received a reply. What was the email about? That I haven't heard from them since March 2nd 2017 regarding the replacement frames for the Ge 6/6". X( X(

Well hope you get well soon Keith. Mentally exhausting I can relate to with some trouble at work caused by a couple of idiots. Having a week leave and feeling so much better despite two pleas to come in and work because of the problems they've caused. Tired of the 'kiddies' and sillyness.

Some time ago someone posted on a Face Book page that the best way to relieve/prevent stress is: "Avoid daily interaction with idiots". My reply to that was "Precisely the reason I like to stay home." ;) :ymsmug:

My mother used to say "Old age doesn't come alone!" to which, at the time, I would mutter a reply under my breath "Middle age has some @&£* $%+ baggage as well!"
As I've got older I simply realise that even a good day, can sometimes in reality have been pretty &%$£ compared to only a few short years ago. Despite that I am grateful for life's small mercies.
