For the last month or so, Alp Grüm has had its ex-turntable siding fenced off for heaps of 'stuff', which has been shuffled about now and again by some very odd bits of kit.

Container-loads of soil or rock have seemingly been taken away at times, and from the nature of the equipment on view now and again, some serious work has been going on overnight on the upper South Ramp. Sadly, the cam only updates once an hour, on the hour, so it's difficult to understand what's happening - but I have seen a Gem trundling stuff about around 11.00pm Ch. time.

I'm curious - does anyone know what it's all about?

Also, I note that the Le Presse webcam - which has lain dormant all year so far - is now up and running again, but with the camera turned more northwards to give a rather nicer view. See for yourselves at;
http://wsc.hotelmedia.ch/ It seems to update every few minutes.

Have fun!
