They either just started it or it’s got an injector issue.

I know it's a workhorse, but you think they'd at least run it through the washing plant once every so often........

Does anybody know why there are only 4 coach push pulls + Ge4/4.11's and no freight through Filisur yesterday and today?

Think I have found the answer, engineering work between Thusis and Tiefencastel until 17th November, bus transfer between those stations, so no through services.

Er, perhaps not quite NO through services; the Bex got through today, http://www.schmalspurbahn.ch/filisur/we ... 0310901385
presumably via Klosters and Davos. I also suspect goods is going via the Vereina Tunnel since I've seen both logs and oil wagons today on the Bernina (albeit most of the latter remain in the Engadine).

Hi Andy I think 4 x BEX coaches coaches came up empty from St Moritz at 09.01 and went back through Filisur at 10.08 presumably to allow BEX passengers from Chur the opportunity of seeing the Albula landscape, of course I could be wrong.

Regards

Difficult to say, Richard. The 953/954 Bex only began yesterday, the usual winter formation being indeed, just the four coaches (Bp, Api, Bps & Bp) and as often happens at quiet periods, there can often be either nobody on board at all, or just a few who hide (annoyingly) away from the cameras on the far side (or in a corner) - which looks much the same to us, of course. Only way to tell is to watch for a few days and see if the pattern changes after the 17th....

Regards, Andy

So far all of the recent trains seem to be Ge4/4 II hauled. So where are the Ge4/4 III locos?

With any luck, now 'Black Friday' and 'Cyber Monday' deals are just about over, things will get a little nearer normal as internet over-use in parts of western Europe ceases to slow everything down. On the other hand; most of the problems at Filisur seem to be that Manfred's server is so full that it's run out of space to deal with requests for images. Try looking after midnight...
Then again, since the camera goes a bit mad when it snows, if Manfred's busy with other 'stuff', then hundreds of recent snowfall images may have over-come the server...

Perhaps if we all threw in a few Euros he could buy a bigger hard drive???
