Looking at the webcam at the station a new footbridge has appeared above where the station kiosk used to be and onto the middle platform, it also appears to link across to the cable car station.

Yes looks like they're replacing the third track with stairs. I wonder if the kick back at the tunnel end will remain. Won't there still be points at the shed end to allow run round? Can't see much detail as it goes black when I zoom in on the phone.

There was a big hole where the freight sidings were on my last visit, but no doubt that this is where the railcar sets will move forward to in order to run round.
All this activity suggests that they plan to allow for 2 trains in the station at one time. I'll have a closer look in February next time I go.

Reason: Engineering works
The section of track from Chur to Arosa is affected
Duration of Building works until 31. October 2014 23:59

Further informations:

The line is temporarily closed to rail traffic.
A replacement bus service is operating between Chur and Arosa
Ab Bahnhof Gleis 2.
