Promted by an observation elsewhere online, I've been studying my recent photos from our trip to Switzerland of # 415.
In every instance that we saw it, it had the #1 end pantograph in use, irrespective of direction of travel.
Just idly speculating that there maybe a mechanical or electrical fault with the #2 end current collection and wondering what the spare
parts stock is for these loks generally these days?

There is another thread about locos and their pantographs.
I think for sometime now the other pantograph has been disconnected after a driver got on the roof and shocked himself .
